"Nonsense, seems to sum up everything."
- Author: Albert Einstein
Einstein was right, it's all nonsense when you begin to understand what you are really looking at. Today, we turn the spotlight on "Drifters": What are they? How do they work? And what do they look like?
In my last article, Understanding Mirror Numbers I talked about mirror numbers and what they were and how you can use them. This article is closely related to mirrors, as numbers become "Drifters" from draw to draw in a state, and sometimes may mirror themselves to give the appearance that it's random.
Let me give you an example. We will take the last 10 draws from the state or Maryland.

Sun, Aug 6, 2023 | 246 | 681 |
Sat, Aug 5, 2023 | 486 | 414 |
Fri, Aug 4, 2023 | 880 | 980 |
Notice in the table above, we will start with the day draw on Fri, Aug 4, 2023, and use 880 as a base number. Then, if we look to the next column, we will see the next drawn number for Fri, Aug 4, 2023 was 980. Notice how I've bolded the "80" in that number. That's because the number 8 and the number 0 are "drifters".
Then, if we move to the next day draw which was 486, notice how the 48 are bolded? If we refer back to our mirror chart, we can see below, that a "9" is really a "4".
Core Lottery Numbers: |
0 |
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
Mirror Numbers: | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 |
The next draw was 414, again, the 4 and 1 are bolded, because they too are drifters. Usually, 99% of the time, you can follow "drifters" through draw to draw. In the case of 414, it's one of the easiest drifters (or any doubles for that matter) to use to your advantage. Because the next number will contain one of the double numbers, or it's mirror, or, the alternate number, or it's mirror number.
In the case of 414, the next number drawn will contain a 4 or a 9 OR a 1 or a 6. And if we look, it contained both: 46.
Now, let's take this a little further. Remember I said "99% of the time"? There's that 1% where the system does what I call a "reset number". That's where if you look at the series of draws, there isn't a drifter to be found.
Let's take a look at Florida and their most recent draws

Sun, Aug 6, 2023 | 155 | 883 |
Sat, Aug 5, 2023 | 322 | 970 |
We start at August 5th, and the base number of 322, and then follow the "drifter(s)". The next draw, the 7 (aka 2) was the drifter, then the 55 (aka 0) was the drifter. Then we had a series of 4 draws of reset numbers, but then on August 8th, the drifters returned where the 8, drifted to 263. 8 is the mirror number of 3.
By paying attention to what you are looking at, and really understand what it is you are looking at, you can see how drifters can be utilized to help you pick your next straight hit. Hopefully you can see how you can use this to your advantage.
But, we're not done just yet. There's something else I want you to pay attention to. What happens "after" a reset number. Let's take a look at Sun, Aug 6, 2023, and the day draw. That draw result was 155. Then on that evening in Florida, the number 883 was drawn. That's a reset number. No drifters can be found from 155 to 883. But what "is" important, is what follows after a reset number happens - yep, you guessed it: A Drifter!
Let's look at the draw results for Mon, Aug 7, 2023, which the day draw produced: 466. After the reset number, a drifter will appear in the next draw - from the previous draw of the reset number.
Let's look at that again: 155, 883, 466. 155, then a reset number, and then a previous draw drifter - 66.
Drifters are not lost, they have a purpose, and they create a way to track what's coming next.
The lottery says in a Pick 3 style game, you have a 1 in 1,000 chance. But if you know, what particular number may be coming, your odds have dropped to a 1 in 540 chance. If you were to count how many numbers from 000 to 999 contain a 1 or a 6 for example, you would have 540 numbers that contain a number or it's mirror. That drastically increases your odds of winning.
You're a hunter, looking for the kill, and a drifter is a footprint that you track to reap the reward. But don't worry, in my next article, I'm going to explain what a 646 workout is, provide some examples and how to use it to track down that elusive number for the win.
